Tom and Thom

There are a million reasons to love NYC right now, including the yellow tulips in full bloom on Park Avenue, and the cherry blossoms on my favorite block (10th Street between Fifth and Sixth) that seem like they’re so heavy the tree could just collapse. But I think the pleasure of perusing the soap aisle at Rite Aid with Tom Colicchio, then riding the elevator with Thom Filicia at ABC Home in the same day takes the cake. I mean, where else could that happen? Love this place.

Caitlin – Wow! That is why NYC is such a great place – “celebrities” living normal lives. And always they have been friendly when spotted.
My favorite was waaay back when (maybe early 2001) Cyndi Lauper was coming out of a Rite Aid type store and suddenly she was face to face with Hubby and me (only the 3 of us on the sidewalk). We all smiled and said Hello as if we had met before! :-)
    Cheers!

I just gasped with delight when I saw this pretty Spring painting! What a pleasant surprise and how well it mirrors the early appearance of tulips out here in the unusually warm Midwest. Thank you so much for another charming painting!
